Description
This artifact is a bronze Roman coin from 330-335 AD. The coin depicts Constantine on one side of the coin and an imperial portrait of GLORIA EXERCITVS consisting of two soldiers with two standards in the middle.
This coin was recovered from the Mediterranean Sea presumably from a shipwreck. This coin and others found are among some of the oldest coins recovered from beneath the ocean. There is pitting seen around edges and on either side of the coin from the harsh salty environment of the Sea.
This artifact comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Global Exploration.
