This artifact is a small bowl found on the Hoi An Hoard shipwreck site 22 miles south of Vietnam in the South China Sea. This ship was a very large cargo vessel carrying porcelain ceramics and sank to a depth of 230 feet in the late 15th Century. The wreck was recently discovered by fishermen in the 1990's and small portion have been salvaged ever since.
This bowl has some small broken sections along the rim but is still in good intact condition overall. The color is a light tan/grey with ornate blue markings on all sides with small indentations all around.
